Its a great way to get fibre into them and the prunes make it look even more chocolatey!Nichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10842740772964621797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130293249488295691.post-53901337693088234452012-08-02T19:58:59.154+08:002012-08-02T19:58:59.154+08:00Thanks Nic. I will maybe given the chocolate prune a go, though my kids would touch a prune with a barge pole :) these were well liked and I suspect I'll be asked very soon to make more. Particularly as my daughter eats them and she isn't normally into cakey type things.

My wife took some to work today so I'm curious to how they went down there.tarasishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09004397739841551976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130293249488295691.post-63305800884719425172012-08-01T21:21:34.450+08:002012-08-01T21:21:34.450+08:00Thanks for your comment. These muffins do have a slightly higher butter to flour ratio than other muffin recipes and so are a bit more like a cupcake but I don't recall them being overly greasy (although I havent made them in a while (too many other delicious things to make). A less buttery version is my chocolate prune muffins (August 2011).Nichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10842740772964621797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130293249488295691.post-39669755920975149262012-08-01T18:28:53.547+08:002012-08-01T18:28:53.547+08:00Found your recipe the other day after I refused to...Found your recipe the other day after I refused to buy my kids a muffin packet mix. Just made them today and they are soft and delicious and I don't like Muffins typically. My son loved his and I haven't had a report back from my daughter (ran off to eat the muffin outside with a friend :)

The only thing that concerned me, and that's because I don't normally make muffins so I don't know what they are normally like, is that the base of the outside of the paper cups was quite greasy.tarasishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09004397739841551976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130293249488295691.post-26736823317303135252012-07-21T21:48:54.142+08:002012-07-21T21:48:54.142+08:00You're welcome!
